My name is kareshma noursai I am 27 years old. I am very passionate about art. I like to live my passion to the full. I aspire to make it my job. I studied BSc Sociology (Specialization in Gender Studies) at the University of Mauritius   I worked as a supply teacher at SSS vacoas boys, shrimati indira gandhi SSS, seewa bapoo SSS, floreal SSS. I teach social studies and sociology. I give lessons to students who have difficulty in school. I love to paint since my childhood.  But it is towards Art that my heart turns. Using a brush, filling it with colors to paint in a canvas is a beautiful feeling of freedom. There are no limits. You are the creator. Your imagination is the only limit. It has always been my passion, I feel free when I paint. I love the idea of ​​creating and letting my imagination take over.  Being an artist is like having wings. There is no right or wrong way to make art. Painting has become a remedy. A means of escape. It was my family and friends who encouraged me to paint. It was so that I could live my passion and do something that I really want.  I had the opportunity to exhibit my paintings for the first time thanks to We arts, a community who encourages art and creativity in Mauritius.  
​It started with the Street art exhibition in port louis at the intermission restaurant December 19, 2020 Gallerie du genie 246 ecc port louis on January 30, 2021 with several Mauritian artists Native lodge mahebourg for poezi edition fam II March 6, 2021   I use acrylic paint I like to paint the sea with moving water. My message to all art lovers like me is to keep trying, don't let your self-esteem stop you from showing your artistic side to the world. Artists help us see the beauty of the world we live in. They awaken our soul. We Mauritians must support artists, give them the respect they deserve and appreciate their works.
